How do I know a crypto platform is registered in Canada?
Check the CSA's list of crypto trading platforms authorized to do business with Canadians, or your provincial regulator's list.
What's the difference between a restricted dealer and an investment dealer?
Both are registration categories. Investment dealers are members of CIRO, Canada's investment industry regulator; restricted dealers operate under narrower terms.
Why isn't platform X listed?
We only list platforms on the regulators' published lists. Unregistered, expired or suspended platforms are excluded.
